Neymeros is a WorldGen V2 team project inspired by Avatar's Pandora world.

 

Explore lush jungles, traverse vines connecting floating islands, collect glowing crystals, and climb towering peaks in this fully custom world.

Every biome was built with a shared vision, ensuring consistency, intentional design, and a cohesive atmosphere across the entire world.

This mod isn't limited to world gen additions and environments, it also features two new weapons (glowing sword and wooden bow with ricochet), many custom prefabs, items and a magic giant flower.

Disclaimer

This mod is intended for Release

To achieve our level of density and atmospheric detail, the Neymeros_World instance utilizes a highly complex density setup. While biomes are individually quite optimized, when assembled in the world density, they experience increased generation time. For the best experience, we recommend using /inst to explore our biomes individually.

Currently, there is a weird "feature" in Hytale where pressing pause will load chunks faster. It is advised to use this.

 

How to play

Craft the Neymeros Portal in the Arcane Bench,
or type /instances and select 'Neymeros/'.

You can come back out from Neymeros, going through the portal, or by typing the command /inst exit.

Gameplay disclaimer

While fully explorable, Neymeros is not yet acustomed to a fully balanced gameplay experience. 
We also advice you to play it with a boat mod. Oceans are wide

  • Nytheris Peaks: ~130ms 
  • Tulchin Oceans: ~77ms
  • Neymeros Beaches: ~25ms
  • Metak Swells: ~40ms
  • Aerogale Plains: ~80ms
  • Biolume Swamp (including sub-biome): ~100ms
  • Aeralith Plateaus (including sub-biome): ~130ms
  • Luminary Aethers: ~175ms
  • Spiritwave Cove: Unknown (WIP)
  • Incandescant Grotto: ~30ms (note that this biome runtime is added to most biomes)

 

⚠ Known Issues

  • The First time you go through the portal with the Portal Key to access Neymeros, it might not work. You will need to try again a second time with a new key.
  • Some particle-based blocks may become corrupted after restarting the world.Fix: modify any value of the affected block in the asset editor.
  • Prefabs may occasionally fail to spawn in Luminary Aethers.~Fix: reload the node graph and run /worldgen reload --clear.
  • Water is very foggy, so we added VFX. However, you have to update it everytime you join the world.
    Fix: open asset editor > search for Water (under water FX) > change any value in it.
  • Due to engine node changes , one half of the Spiritwave_Cove arches refuses to spawn. 
    Fix: You can check out an older version using /instances and click Neymeros/Spiritwave_Cove
  • In the latest release, queue prop does not seem to work, so in aeralith plateaus, the log bridges tend to spawn stacked on top of eachother.
    Possible Fix: Use pre-release (not tested)
