Void Vanguards

Void Vanguards is a sci-fi adventure mod made for the CurseForge 2025 ModJam. It throws the player into an ancient conflict between The Vanguard and The Voidborn, two opposing forces locked in a war that stretches across dimensions. You’ll follow an immersive questline with advanced species and cosmic magic. The story is uncovered piece by piece as you progress.

A mysterious sky ship has appeared in orbit, and strange signals are being detected across the world. Maybe you should take a closer look through your Spyglass. Make sure you're prepared, as this could trigger an event with great risk and great value.

Travel through portals to the custom Cosmos dimension, where the Vanguard Station and the Voidborn Asteroid await. Find enemies and loot along the way! Decide which of the two quest paths you'd like to take. Beds work in the Cosmos dimension as well, so you're able to set your spawn point there.

Compatible with multiplayer servers! Each player has their own questline and their own structures.

   All available config options:

/voidvanguards reset - Makes the sky ship appear in orbit again.
/voidvanguards return - Returns you from the Cosmos dimension to your original location.
/voidvanguards radio - Generates an Orbital Radio at your position.
/voidvanguards generate cosmos_gate - Generates a cosmos gate next to you.
/voidvanguards teleport voidborn_base - Teleports you to the Voidborn base in the Cosmos dimension.
/voidvanguards tag remove - Removes all Void Vanguards tags from your player.
/voidvanguards head list - Shows all heads that can be generated.
/voidvanguards head <name> <amount> - Gives you one of the mod's heads. The amount is optional.
The commands require cheat access.

The mod generates two structures inside the cosmos dimension. You'll get access to one of the two, depending on your choices, after the quest.

You may freely use this mod in any modpack, as long as the download remains hosted within the CurseForge or Modrinth ecosystem.
