A mid weightish magic adventure/exploration modpack with quests to walk you through some of the magic progression/mods.
Become a supreme wizard and alchemist and defeat the All Father. The main focus of this pack is Mana and Artifice, a vanilla styled magic mod that is the successor of Ars Magica 2.
Learn how to harness magic through custom guided quests that have random loot bags as rewards. The pack has high replayablitly with the 5 different factions from base MnA and the Witchcraft addon. Each faction offers different playstyle, abilities, and special items tailored for them.
- Council of Wizards: Defense and damage mitigation. Teleportation. Mana capacity. Allies spawn in the overworld, the nether can be particularly dangerous.
- Fey Courts: Movement and Trickery. Flight. Nature. Allies spawn in the overworld, the nether can be particularly dangerous.
- Undead: Relentless endurance, spirit magic. Possession and Mind Vision. A shift in paradigm from the other factions, a very different feel, but a capacity for a large amount of power. Has some passive abilities and downsides. You join the other factions, you become undead.
- Demons of the Nether: Power without restraint. Nether transport. Fire protection. Allies spawn in the nether, making it particularly safe. The overworld will be more dangerous to you.
- Witch: Has rejected the factions, and are perfectly content to just explore on their own. Maybe their progress is a little slower, maybe they don't become quite as powerful, but they also don't enter into the faction war that has plagued the other factions.
Build and command an army of constructs to fulfill your automation needs for fishing, farming, sorting, protection, and much more.
